When is the Hendricks County Home Show for 2018?
Vendors will set-up their spaces on Thursday, March 29th at assigned times. The show will open to the public from Noon until 8 PM on Friday, March 30th and again on Saturday, March 31st from 10 AM until 8 PM
What will there be to do at the home show?
Hendricks County's own Macaroni Kid is our partner with the Kid Zone.
Family fun activities include life size board games, bouncy-house, magicians, face painting, balloon artists, music and dance shows.
Take a physical tour through several tiny houses to learn more about the tiny house movement and this exciting revolution in housing.
Hungry? Central Indiana's best food trucks will be there to serve!
Where do I park?
Parking will be available on site. Additional parking will be available at Danville High School and frequent shuttles will be provided every 30 minutes for your convenience.
Is there handicapped parking?
Yes. The Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Danville High School offer handicap parking spaces
Are shuttles handicap accessible?
Yes, some of the shuttles are handicapped accessible.
Are wheel chairs available?
A very limited number of wheelchairs are available free of charge. Please inquire at the ticket station at the main entrance to the event. Strollers are not available but are permitted should you chose to bring your own.
How much does admission cost?
Admission is $12 for adults, Advanced tickets are $10 and are available to purchase HERE. Kids age 12 and under are free. Seniors 65 and over can purchase a $10 ticket at the door which is $2 off regular adult admission. Tickets are available at the door for $10 for those donating 2 (two) non-perishable food items which will be given to the Hendricks County Food Pantry Coalition for distribution.
Is there food available at the Convention Center?
Yes, the best Food Trucks in Central Indiana will be available for food purchases and concessions!
Can I buy tickets with a credit card?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Checks and cash are also accepted. Checks are not accepted. Cash will be accepted at the door only.
Is my ticket good for more than one day? Are there multiple day tickets?
There are no multiple day tickets. Tickets are good for one day only.
Can I bring a camera or video recorder?
Yes, may bring a camera or video recorder but please respect those exhibitors who do not want pictures taken of their booth or products.
Is there a coat check?
No. You will be responsible for your own possessions. The Hendricks County Family Home Show, its owners, vendors, sponsors, partners, affiliates, employees nor the Hendricks County 4-H fairgrounds or other parties associated with the event are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Is there a lost and found?
Yes, there is an Information Desk at the front entrance inside the show. This does not mean that lost items will have been found or provided to us. You will be responsible for your own possessions. The Hendricks County Family Home Show, its owners, vendors, sponsors, partners, affiliates, employees nor the Hendricks County 4-H fairgrounds or other parties associated with the event are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
What happens to the flowers and plants at the end of the show?
At the end of the show, we will encourage vendors to donate these items to one of the senior care facilities in Hendricks County.
